Southern Belles BBQ is more than just another great tasting barbecue sauce. It represents the love, adventure, heartaches and dreams of three generations of the Knight family of Memphis, Tennessee.
Hand crafted with love from a recipe passed down for over 50 years, every bottle of Southern Belles combines the age-old traditions of the South, with the newer, exotic and fresh fruit flavors of the multi-cultural America of the 2020's.

Our Journey
1970s
In the kitchens of Memphis, Tennessee, the Knight family creates a secret BBQ sauce recipe that would be passed down through generations. Rich, smoky, and unlike anything else in the South.
2000s
The second generation of the Knight family keeps the recipe alive, refining it and sharing it with friends, family, and neighbors throughout Memphis. The legend of the sauce begins to grow.
2018
Jacqueline Brooks, inspired by her family's legacy, officially launches Southern Belles BBQ. The brand brings the beloved family recipe to the world for the first time, starting with the Original Belle.
2019–2022
Southern Belles BBQ begins winning national awards, accumulating over 200 honors and recognitions for flavor, quality, and innovation. The brand becomes a household name in the BBQ community.
Today
With 10 unique gourmet flavors — from the classic Original Belle to bold fruit-forward creations like Memphis Razz and Hot N' Sassy Peach — Southern Belles BBQ continues to push the boundaries of what BBQ sauce can be.
